Great Rehabilitation Tool
We have really loved this rehabilitation tool! It has been an essential part of our business. Our client base is mostly Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds, and they usually come to us with a variety of manageable problems. The EquiVibe has helped to keep our horses sound and happy. Specifically, we have noticed that horses with back and hock issues have had greatly diminished pain, and in some instances, that pain has been completely erased. We really depend on this great resource! Sara Crafts, Owner, Rising Phoenix Equine Rehabilitation Center at Camulos Farm
The Sanctuary-Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center
We offer vibration therapy at both our Ocala FL and Wellington FL facilities. We use vibration therapy with our rehabilitation horses to increase circulation and oxygenation to injured tissue, and to promote bone remodeling, which increases bone density, while the horses are on restricted exercise. For our clients that are competing, vibration therapy relieves sore muscles and soothes "stingy" feet. We are really pleased with our success stimulating hoof growth on horses that have problems with poor hoof and sole growth. Gregory Fox, DVM
Having used the EquiVibe extensively for over a year on about 16 individual horses there are several reliable results that one can expect to see. The first and most predictable is the increased rate and quality of the hoof wall. In most cases, during the spring and summer months it was rare to have a horse go four weeks between shoeings. The depth of the hoof wall also improved over the course of six months of consistent daily use. We generally put each horse on the plate for 15-20 minutes daily seven days a week. Several horses enjoyed the plate so much that they had a second treatment following the afternoon walking session. The second most reliable improvement seen in this group was a significant improvement in horses that were prone to chronic back and gluteal muscle soreness.Gregory Fox, DVM, Lexington, KY
EquiVibe Owner Bill Casner
Our horse Well Armed (who won the Dubai World Cup in 2009) had a chip removed off his sesamoid and had a small tear in the attached suspensory. I used vibration therapy as part of his rehab. In late November, I had ultrasounds done, after 2.5 months which showed healing was complete" Bill Casner, Co-Owner WinStar Farm
Tendon/Ligament Injuries, Suspensory Injuries
We have been recommending every tendon/ligament injury use the EquiVibe. But anecdotally we've had a really good response with a chronic front suspensory branch injury that had been stuck not improving for at least 6 months. The ligament really tightened up after using the plate daily for a month and the horse was overall less stiff. It reallly seemed to get us over the hump and strengthen the ligament without stress and concussion so that when he started increasing his work level the suspensory could take it. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Magic Man came to 2High Dollar Ranch with COPD and has been in a study with Purdue University. He labored heavily with his breathing as he inhaled and exhaled loudly. He had heave pockets in the flank area that were softball size in diameter and in depth. His rib cage expanded in rhythms. The owner, John Trent, was concerned about the lack of energy, poor hair coat, listlessness, excessive deep cough, and lack of food consumption. The ranch put him on the EquiVibe twice a day for the first two weeks with thirty minute sessions. This Tennessee Walker coughed up large amounts of green fluids after his sessions in the first few days. As he continued to be on the EquiVibe in the first two weeks, his coughing gradually became less and less. After the first two weeks, the ranch put him on a daily schedule of one, thirty minute session and progress continued. His labored breathing has declined. His energy is outstanding, as he is turned out daily and runs up and down the fence line with no limitations in his breathing patterns. His hair coat completely changed, he eats regularly, and has a bright attentiveness to what is going on. He even enjoys asking for attention while being attended to on the EquiVibe. The heave pockets above his flanks have decreased about seventy-five percent and his breathing has regulated to a normal rhythm. The EquiVibe has assisted tremendously in his progress. He will be making a return trip to Purdue University to measure his progress and the ranch is excited to have his success calculated by them.
Rehab Shoulder Muscle Tear
RV is a Palomino Quarter Horse stallion owned by Lisa Prior. He tore his shoulder muscle and is an outpatient at the 2High Dollar Ranch. The ranch used the EquiVibe for two thirty minute sessions a week. Deviation due to the muscle tear that was above the shoulder was approximately six inches long, four inches wide, and about one inche in depth. His range of motion, forward and side to side, was impaired with limitation to extension. With each session, the stimulation of blood flow to the soft tissue decreased the atrophy in the shoulder. After ten sessions, RV’s leg extensions are smoother and the transition is definitely progressing. The deviation above the shoulder is closing in and the muscle is starting to develop again. The atrophic area is approximately four inches long, three inches wide, and about a quarter inch in depth. Breeding season has gone well for this successful stallion.
Improved Balance
The ranch noticed that Magic Man had problems balancing on his hind end and that he showed signs of a horse with EPM. Balancing tests were performed at the ranch before calling Magic Man’s owner. Ranch owner, Sherry Sunden, called Magic Man’s owner and asked if there was any history of EPM with this horse. Owner, John Trent, said that they had done a treatment series to aid in the EPM signs this horse had shown, but that he hadn’t noticed much improvement. Magic Man has been at the ranch for thirty days (see above history) and has been put through the same balancing tests and there is such a great significance in his balance which can also be observed as well.
Navicular Disease Treatment
A client brought in a six year old Buckskin Quarter Horse named Action, that was lame. He was used for working cow horse purposes and became lame during use. He was diagnosed with mild Navicular by his veterinarian. After two years of not having any success, the client visited 2High Dollar Ranch to see if the vibration therapy could help this horse become sound. The ranch assessed him and found the lameness to be in the front and also in the hind quarters. In a two week period of time, he was put on the EquiVibe plate daily for thirty minutes. After two days, Action was walking sound on all fours. The ranch reassessed and put the gelding through a stress test. On the seventh day, Action was sound. Action is continuing his stay at the 2High Dollar Ranch for more study.
Physical Facelift, Muscle Toning
Maggie is owned by 2High Dollar Ranch and came to the ranch in March of 2010. She was definitely in shape when the EquiVibe arrived at the ranch in November of 2010, but lacked muscle definition. The ranch owner, Sherry Ann Sunden, uses Maggie for barrel racing in professional rodeos. She understands the hindrances that can be caused from the wear and tear on a horse that is being hauled extensive miles, poor ground conditions, and the stress a horse faces. Sherry used Maggie as a clinical study at the ranch since she knew the horse’s history, physical workouts, demeanors, etc. Maggie was put on the EquiVibe plate daily for a thirty minute session. Within the first thirty days, Maggie started showing definition muscle in her body. She also developed a calmer personality and disposition. In January, Sherry decided to take a huge risk and stopped physically working Maggie on a daily basis, using only the EquiVibe for exercise to see if Maggie would still have the stamina and speed she needed to perform at rodeos. After twenty five days, Sherry entered a rodeo and competed on Maggie. Sherry knocked a barrel down, but her time was consistent with the winning time and Maggie came out of the competition with her normal breathing pattern. The ranch believes you can lay a horse off physical workouts and still have consistency in the performance using the EquiVibe. This mare has been to several rodeos and Sherry’s friends have asked her about the new mare she is riding (that is how different she physically looks).
A Must For Any Rehab or Layup Facility
The Annadale Equine Center has been using the EquiVibe in conjunction with our swimming pool and aqua treadmill for the past 6 months as part of our rehab program. The swimming and aqua tread build an extremely fit horse and with daily sessions on the EquiVibe we have been able to achieve added strength to the entire leg. We have seen a dramatic increase in foot growth as well as a decrease in soft tissue inflammation. The EquiVibe is a must for any rehab or lay up facility. Annadale Equine Center
Helps Soreness, Faster Warm-Up, Stimulates Circulation, Quarter Cracks Disappear, Horses Love It
Older horses or horses that are body-sore benefit from a ten minute session on the EquiVibe. They walk out on the track ready to train and don't need the jogging it normally takes to warm up their muscles. The Equivibe stimulates circulation to the extremity of the horse and assists healing by helping eliminate waste products and bringing needed nutrients to the injury site. It does stimulate circulation and therefore benefits horses that are unable to exercise due to the extent of their injuries. All our horses really look forward to their time on the Equivibe and willingly walk on to the plate and stand comfortably and happily on the plate for the entire session. I have seen dramatic improvement in hoof growth with regular use of the Equivibe. Supplementing the horse's feed ration with Farrier's Formula or some other form of feed supplement for hoof growth augment's the benefit of the EquiVibe. Anything that improves the growth and health of the hoof will help with quarter cracks. Mary Knight, Rancho Paseana Training Center, California (Jenny Craigs Facility)
EquiVibe a Big Difference
I wanted to let you know how much we love our EquiVibe Plate. We are a dressage training facility in Alberta, Canada. We have had the plate for about 3 weeks and I am very impressed with how our horses are working since we incorporated the Vibeplate into our daily training regimen. We have each horse stand on the plate for 15 to 20 minutes before we ride (the groom tacking them up, loves standing on it as well!!). The horses come into the arena already warmed up! They are loose and ready to work. Each day we use it, we are more and more impressed with day to day work. The benefits we can’t feel, anti-inflammatory effects, bone growth, hoof growth will show up in the long term health of our dressage horses. We have horses from Training level to Grand Prix. Our horses have regular turn out each day and the plate has still made a big difference. For horses with limited turnout, the plate would be a huge positive addition to their day. Thank you for our Vibeplate! Vickie Argals, Flying Colours Stables, Alberta, Canada www.flyingcoloursstables.com
EquiVibe Trainer Todd Pletcher
This past weekend (February 24, 2010) was a big one for trainer and EquiVibe owner, Todd Pletcher. Pletcher sent out Eskendereya to win the Fountain of Youth-G2 by 8 1/2, Discreetly Mine went gate to wire in the Risen Star-G2 and Connemara got up in the El Camino Real Derby-G3. Thorouhbred Times
Could Not Train Without EquiVibe
Kinsale King has quarter cracks in three of his four feet. He couldn't train without the EquiVibe. And it really helps warm up older horses before exercise. It also takes the body soreness out of them. Carol O'Callaghan said about his horse Kinsale King, who was wire to wire winner of the Grade 3 Vernon O. Underwood Stakes at Hollywood Park.
Kinsale King, smartly ridden by Garrett Gomez, reclaimed the $2 million Dubai Golden Shaheen (UAE-I) for America when he held off the fast closing favorite Rocket Man at Meydan March 27th. Trainer Carl O'Callaghan.

Feedback For Small Animals
I discovered by accident how beneficial the VP is for my 19 yr old cat. He absolutely loves the VP and I have to share while I am using it. He has regained movement and has helped his elimination quite a bit. He acts several years younger now. I m not sure how long to leave him on it. I just let him stay until he jumps offs, usually 3-5 minutes. Lynn C. Canada
Some of the results we have noticed with the dogs:
THEY LOVE THE VIBE PLATE !!! The affect is improved greatly in all cases, The energy level is increased in the dogs, The flexibility is restored or improved, The vibe plate is great for stressed or worried dogs, it really calms them.
We always start out personally standing/sitting on the plate with it running and call the dog onto the plate. With dogs you know it is easy for them to trust you and hop on with you as you pet them while you are both on the plate. let them jump off if they want to and build up the time and trust. with dogs you dont know. keep the machine running and use a leash just walk by the plate several times while you jump on and off the machine ,Keep the leash in your hand but don't make the dog go with you unless he wants to. after several rounds use the leash to guide the dog, and your free hand under the dogs belly to help the dog up onto the machine with you. let them jump off if they want to ,start with short sessions building up time and confidence. ALL the dogs we have used the plate with are now VIBE PLATE HOGS. any time the machine is turned on they come running, If we want to use the machine ourselves we have dogs waiting for their turn to get on with you. If We stand on the machine they don't wait for an invitation. If We want to use the plate all by ourselves, We have to shoo them off. That's how we know it works! Cosby Therapy Animals Inc
